Regency princess picnic.  Fine marker and watercolours on unbleached paper.

Just.. a memo to self: I left the mistakes in on purpose when I saw them. Coloured/unbleached paper illustrates the difference in fine artist’s watercolours and cheap poundshop colours more clearly than white paper.  The proper watercolours soak into the paper (which is great for the preservation of colour long-term, not so great on coloured paper where it means they look very subdued. For example Tiana and Pocahontas’ skin tones were done with posh colours and Jasmine with the cheaper ones so the difference in colour depth is pretty obvious.), in comparison the cheap ones stay on the surface (which results in more brilliant colour but also blocks out the marker lines underneath, i.e. the whites and yellows above).
