Designer Villain Gothel and Cruella DeVil. Pencil drawing, colours in SAI.
I already made more movie-like versions of Ursula and Queen of Hearts but for these two I wanted to think of them before they became quite so “evil” and jaded by life.
I mean what was Gothel like before she became addicted to the magic flower and got that gaunt meth-face she has in the movie? What was Cruella like? She’s just referred to as Anita’s “old friend” in the movie from what I remember so they were probably childhood neighbors or something. I didn’t want to draw her as a kid though so it became more of a question of when did it all start to go “wrong” for her? Was she beautiful once and showered with furs and diamonds? Incidently she turned out a little bit like Patsy from AbFab… and this became a longer rambling than intended. Just for the record btw, everyone feel free to remove my excessive ramblings when you reblog anything of mine.
