About me

About me

I’m originally from Finland and after a bit of travelling I ended up in college in Dublin, Ireland, where I did an HND in Classical Animation at Ballyfermot College of Further Education.  After graduating I worked couple of years in the video game industry in the UK doing 3D animation and letting my drawing skills rust.

I’m currently living in central England, “married” to an Englishman and a full-time mum to a baby girl born summer 2011 and a little boy born spring 2009 so all the drawings I’m posting in this blog have been done in the few calm moments I get between playing games, nappy changes, feeds and housework.  I love to draw so I started to share my drawings online hoping others would get bit of the pleasure I get from making them from seeing them.

FAQ…

Will I do requests?

  • No.  If I’m drawing for free I’m doing it for fun.

Will you draw me a tattoo?

  • I’ll never understand why I get this a lot but no I will not design tattoos or any other personal artwork over the internet, these should be done by a professional artist and in the presence of the person requesting.  If you want to use my drawings as an inspiration or reference, by all means go for it,  but let the actual person who’ll be sticking the needle into your skin work out how it’ll be done best.

Do you do commissions?

  • Yes and I’m pretty flexible, just send me a note on Tumblr or on deviantArt and we’ll see.
  • Every commission is different so I don’t have a set-in-stone price structure. However, to give you a rough idea for example a fairly simple piece with one or two characters that you only get a digital copy of via email would be about 25-35USD.  This is roughly the deviantArt average for what is commonly known as a “sketch commission”.  If you want something more detailed and/or wish to purchase the original piece then we’re moving into 60-100+ USD range for noncommercial work depending on size, medium and detail required.  I accept paypal only for online commissions.

Can I buy prints of your work?

  • Some are available as prints via deviantArt, some in my Society6 shop.  If there’s something you’d like to see that’s not there do let me know and I’ll look into adding it.
